As the President of the American Canyon Arts Foundation, I have worked with Ms Debbie for many years. She taught art classes for all ages as well as ran art camps during the summer. She is an incredible teacher and gets outstanding work from her students. She has an energy that is just right for young children learning to become creative artists. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn art!

Debbie wants your children to have fun while learning. Our child learned to love art while in her classes. Debbie shows endless patience, which relaxes her students, and allows them to create art they didn't know they were capable of. Debbie's engaging personality and love of art is always apparent in her teaching. She has a passion for teaching children to love art. She's taught thousands of children and helps kids overcome the obstacles that hide the artist within. I'm amazed at the art my child creates while in Debbie's classes.

Greg is really knowledgeable with music and with voice. It was nice to get feedback from him, and to receive positive suggestions on how to make my songs better.

Private or Group Lessons

which is better for you?
Private lessons

Private lessons

Private music lessons provide one-on-one attention, so teachers can focus on an individual student’s needs. These are our most common form of insruction. Students tend to learn and improve their skills faster in this environment than any other way due to the singular focus of the teacher.
These lessons are available for voice and all musical instruments, and by special arrangement for art students. Half hour lessons for kids through age 8 are recommended, with 45 minutes recommended for 8 - 12 year olds and 1 hour lessons recommended for all others.

Teens

Teens

Our Teen classes are designed to supplement elementary education classes, or in the situation where there is no music or art education there, we provide it! Whether they're beginners just starting out, or intermediate students continuing their arts education, our instructors have the experience to provide excellent music and art instruction.
Teen music classes can also involve ensemble work as they become more proficient at their craft. String quartets, four hand piano pieces, small choral ensembles, all provide students with learning experiences they can't acquire alone. These are exciting and challenging opportunities for growth and development in your teens.

Adults

Adults

We have programs for everyone. In addition to teaching music and art to children, we instruct adults and seniors. Some are trying something new for the first time. Others are picking up where they may have left off some years ago. But all are welcome and will find excellent instruction here.
Sometimes adults find it convenient to take a lesson at the same time as their child. We try to make such arrangments possible. We know you're busy, but there should always be time to continue your arts education. We even offer adult paint nights that you can attend on a one-off basis. Some people find it's just enough to keep up their love of painting.
